Bournemouth has sacked Scott Parker after a miserable start to life back in the Premier League.
The former midfielder helped them to gain promotion back to the English top flight from the Championship.
Their return to the competition has not gone to plan so far, with Liverpool inflicting a 9-0 defeat on them at the weekend.
They had previously lost 4-0 to Manchester City and 3-0 to Arsenal in league matches since their return. Considering the calibre of clubs they have faced so far, they shouldn’t have expected much, but the club’s executives believe they could have had a better start.
