Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante will reportedly sign for Spanish side Atletico Madrid when his contract at Stamford Bridge expires this summer.
According to Spanish publication Mundo Deportivo, the Frenchman, who could become a free agent this summer, is a transfer target of Diego Simeone. The Argentina coach likes the player and wants to bring him to Wanda Metropolitano.

However, that will only be possible if Chelsea do not extend the 31-year-old’s deal. As it stands, it is still being determined whether Graham Potter will keep the player. Having lost Jorginho, there are suggestions that Chelsea will keep Kante, but the signing of Enzo Fernandez and the emergence of Conor Gallagher means that Chelsea can cope without Kante.
