Current Premier League leaders Arsenal are in the lead to sign Sergej Milinkovic-Savic should he leave Lazio this summer.
According to Corriere dello Sport, the Serbian midfielder has made an ‘irreversible decision’ to leave the club this summer or when his contract ends in June 2024.
The player was in demand last summer, but Lazio demanded up to £100m for him. But with his contract up in a year and a half, the Serie A side might be forced to sell him for half that amount should Arsenal come calling in July.
The Gunners recently signed Chelsea midfielder Jorginho but are still open to adding another midfielder to their ranks, especially as they could lose Albert Sambi Lokonga and Mohamed Elneny this way summer.
