Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain added to senior Arsenal training

Former Arsenal midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has been promoted to senior training with the  Gunners as he continues his search for a new club.

The 32-year-old has been training at Arsenal for over a month after leaving Besiktas in the summer, initially working with the club’s Under-21 squad to maintain his fitness.

According to Jeorge Bird’s Arsenal youth website, Oxlade-Chamberlain has now been integrated into Mikel Arteta’s first-team training sessions. He has been spotted wearing the club’s ‘T3’ shirt, which is typically allocated to trialists.

Oxlade-Chamberlain previously spent six seasons at Arsenal between 2011 and 2017, making 198 appearances and scoring 20 goals before joining Liverpool.

The experienced midfielder is currently a free agent and remains focused on securing his next move, with his continued training at London Colney allowing him to stay match-ready.
