Real Madrid will sell superstar to Chelsea on this one condition

Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane is ready to allow Marco Asensio join Chelsea if he can get Eden Hazard in return. Los Blancos have be eyeing a move for Hazard for a few summers now, and could have moved for him last summer if he wasn’t injured. Reports in Spain is claiming that Zinedine Zidane is not a fan of Asensio and would not hesitate to use him as a sweetener for any deal that could bring Hazard to the Bernabeu. Asensio started the season brightly in the absence of the suspended Christiano Ronaldo, but just like many of his team mates, his form has tailed off drastically and he no longer commands a starting position. Madrid are off the pace in the La Liga race and already trail Barcelona by at least 8 points. One big issue with Asensio been used as a make weight to bring Hazard to Spain is Real Madrid’s president. Florentino Perez is clearly a fan of the young Spaniard and has even guaranteed him some minutes on the field of play weekly which Zidane has not been complying with. Hazard has been in superb form for the Blues this season, scoring six goals in as many games.

Arsenal and Tottenham set to battle for Real Madrid outcast

Real Madrid youngster Dani Cabellos is a subject of interest from north London clubs, Tottenham and Arsenal. The Spain youth international joined Los Blancos last summer after an inspiring display at  the European Under-21 Championship, but he has not been given enough opportunities to show what he can do. He is reportedly unhappy with his limited role at the Bernabeu and is seeking a move away just five months into his long term deal. Arsenal and Tottenham are looking to rescue their season, and believe the Real Betis midfielder could be of help. The Gunners lost their last league game to Manchester United, a result which leaves them fifth on the league table, while Tottenham have not won any of their last four league games, and seat three points of the top four. AC Milan are also interested in Cabellos, but he could decide to return to Betis on loan. He has started just 2 La Liga games this season, and scored a brace in a 2-1 over Alaves. According to Dario Gol, Zinedine Zidane never endorsed the signing of Cabellos, but Florentino Perez signed him as part of his plan to develop a Spanish core at the European champions.

Former Liverpool manager reveals Premier League interest

Manager of “invincible” Celtic, Brendan Rodgers has revealed that several Premier League sides have tried to bring him back to the English top flight, but he has turned them all down. Rodgers almost won the Premier League with Liverpool in the 2013/2014 season, thanks to the impact of Luis Suarez, Raheem Sterling, and Daniel Sturridge upfront for the Reds, but finished second that season, after a late capitulation at Chelsea and Crystal Palace. His Reds team however, failed to measure up to the standard they had set that season, and once Luis Suarez was sold to Barcelona they failed to finish in the top four the next season, which led to his sacking. But since he joined Celtic in the summer of 2016, they have won five trophies and remain unbeaten in Scotland. The Irish man who is a long-time Celtic fan, claims he is a happy man. According to him, he knows he could earn more in the Premier League, but happiness is more important than money to him. West Ham, Everton and Swansea were credited with an interest in Rodgers, but it would be difficult to sell a club without European commitments to him now.

Real Madrid seriously interested in Liverpool hotshot

Egypt’s national team manager Hector Cuper is claiming that Real Madrid are seriously eyeing a move for Premier League’s top scorer, Mohammed Salah. The Egyptian has been hailed as the signing of the season after an impressive start to life in the Premier League that has seen him score 12 league goals after 15 rounds of matches. His form seem to have attracted the attention of current Europeans champions Real Madrid who are seriously considering making a move for him according to Cuper. Cuper via the Daily Mail   claims “I’ve received confirmed news revealing Real Madrid’s interest in Salah, but let’s not rush things.” Real Madrid have been struggling for goals this season, and they look set to lose the La Liga title they won last season to bitter rivals Barcelona. Zinedine Zidane is reportedly  not happy with Gareth Bale for his constant injury problems, and would consider replacing the Welsh man with Salah. Madrid currently seat 4th on their league table, if their form dips further, they might drop out of the top four, with the likes of Real Sociedad impressing this season. Liverpool would likely rebuff any approach for Salah this winter as they look likely to sell Philippe Coutinho.

Chelsea ready to allow first choice goal keeper leave for free

Chelsea are prepared to allow Thibaut Courtois leave Stamford Bridge for free in the summer of 2019, rather than cash in on him earlier. The Belgian has been in sensational form for the Blues since he returned from his three years loan at Atletico Madrid, and helped the Blues win the Premier League last season. Antonio Conte is a fan of the Belgian and had earlier asked the Blues hierarchy to give a new deal to the goalie he considers the best in the world. However, there hasn’t been much progress in talks between the club and the players hierarchy, with the Belgian preferring to resume talks after this season. Real Madrid have Courtois as one of three goal keepers they want to replace the ageing Keylor Navas and could move for one of them next summer, but Chelsea would not sell and would rather let him leave for free in 2019. However, de Gea who was superb for the Red Devils in their last match against Arsenal, making the joint highest save ever made by a Premier League goalkeeper, still has a deal with United until 2019, and the club retain the right to extend it by another year. Courtois had earlier spent three seasons in the La Liga, winning the title with Atletico Madrid in the 2013/2014 season. The Belgian is said to be interested in a move there but could stay if offered a huge pay increase.

Juventus tracking replacement for Chelsea target

Juventus are afraid that Alex Sandro will ask for a move to Chelsea when the January transfer window opens, and the Italians are currently tracking a replacement. According to Talksport, the Serie A champions are tracking Atletico Madrid’s Felipe Luis as the ideal replacement for Sandro. Luis spent a single season with Chelsea during the 2015/2016 season, but had an underwhelming time at Stamford Bridge before returning to Atleti. He has since rebuilt his career and he is thriving again. Although Luis is 32 now, the Old Ladies believe he still has a few more years of top level football to offer. He would also come cheaper than younger alternatives. Sandro was close to joining the Blues last summer in a deal that could have been worth up to £60 million, but the Old ladies stood firm and refused to allow him leave. However, Sandro is reportedly ready to move and join his compatriots in the Premier League and would love the move to happen this winter. It is unclear of Chelsea would be willing to move for him this January at the moment.
