Paris Saint-Germain will continue their defence of the Ligue 1 title this Saturday when they welcome mid-table Toulouse to Parc des Princes.
The hosts ended a run of two league games without a win (D1, L1) with a 3-1 away win over Montpellier on Wednesday. The win means they come into this round of games sitting five points ahead of Marseille, their closest challengers.
Christophe Galtier’s men should feel confident of getting a win here against a Toulouse side they trounced 3-0 back in August. Also, having not tasted league defeat at home in 32 games (W27, D5), they can be backed to record a win here.

Despite this, Toulouse are no pushovers themselves. The visitors are currently on their longest unbeaten start to a calendar year in Ligue 1 action for over a decade (W4, D1). Also, their 4-1 over Troyes in midweek in the Coup De France means they are unbeaten in seven games since the turn of the year (W6, D1).
But it seems unlikely Toulouse will go a step further in their unbeaten run as they have lost their last two visits to the current top-three Ligue 1 teams by a 3+ goal margin. They’ve also lost by four clear goals in two of their previous three trips to the Parc des Princes, potentially providing a psychological block.
