Indiana Pacers star Tyrese Haliburton is stepping into the broadcast booth as a player contributor for “NBA on Prime”, making his debut Tuesday night during “NBA Nightcap.”
Haliburton, who suffered an Achilles tear in Game 7 of the 2025 NBA Finals, will provide fans with behind-the-scenes updates on his recovery throughout the 2025-26 season, alongside commentary on league developments and games.
“I’m going to be talking about the games, talking about the season, talking about the NBA as a whole,” Haliburton said. “Sometimes the way our game is discussed in the media has bothered a lot of players, and I want to bring a perspective that reflects the players’ side.
”
He joins an experienced studio crew featuring Dirk Nowitzki, Dwyane Wade, Steve Nash, and Udonis Haslem, alongside host Taylor Rooks. Haliburton hopes to offer insights that only a current player can provide, complementing the perspectives of retired NBA legends.
“I’m excited to put the game in a positive light and help fans understand it—and the players—a bit better,” he added.
