Celtic earned an impressive win in their last Europa League game against RB Leipzig and they would be looking to build on that here. The Hoops would have been eliminated from Europe if they had lost to the impressive Germans but they dug deep and earned a deserved 2-1 win.
The Scottish champions have been unbeaten since that game and faced tough games on artificial turf against Livingston and Hamilton, yet they came out tops. They would be back on grass for this game and their fans would be expecting them to continue their impressive head to head record against their Norwegian hosts.
Rosenborg have suffered a hit to their confidence since they were beaten 5-2 by RB Salzburg at home in their last Europa League game. They were on a three games winning run before that match but they have scored just a goal and won only one match in the two games that followed that defeat.
It is also not good reading to say that their opponents in these games have been outside the Norwegian top ten, so they would need to get their confidence up to get a result here.
