Liverpool should be prepared for another battle to keep hold of one of their star players next summer according to reports online.
The Reds lost Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona in the January transfer window after it became clear that the Brazilian preferred a move to Catalonia. He left for a record fee but also left a huge void in Liverpool’s attacking midfield and they are yet to replace him.
However, while they plan for a replacement for Philippe Coutinho, they might as well start planning to replace Mohamed Salah as the Egyptian has entered the radar of PSG.
According to Sun Sport, the French side are looking to sign Salah as a replacement for Edison Cavani who has netted 35 goals this season already. Cavani is a target for big clubs and looks unsettled in the French.
Jurgen Klopp has said that none of his stars would be sold, and he is even ready to spend 80 million pounds on Timo Werner when the new transfer window opens. However, we all know Liverpool are a selling club and it would be interesting to see if the Reds would reject the temptation to accept a big money offer for the Egyptian.
