Manchester United have been handed a major boost in their bid to land Napoli star, Jorginho.
The Italy international of Brazilian decent has been a target of several top European sides for the past few seasons and many expect him to make the move to a top European side in the nearest future.
He has been a target of Manchester United for the past three seasons and they might make a move for him in the next transfer window.
The 26 years old defensive midfielder is one of the players Mourinho is targetting to replace Michael Carrick, and his representatives even made a trip to Manchester last month.
Although Jorginho remains happy in Naples, his agent claims that he could be sacrificed by Napoli as they look to bring in a new signing.
According to him, the Naples side are currently interested in signing Sampdoria’s Torreira and the player would only come in if they can create space by selling Jorginho. He claims he would be sacrificed rather than the younger Amadou Diawara.
The Naples side are looking for their first league title since the 1989/1990 season when Diego Maradona led them to the Scudetto.
