Liverpool set to break their wage structure to keep their key duo beyond this season

Liverpool are the second highest scoring teams in England at the moment and that comes with a big price. With the Reds failing to win trophies, their star performers have become targets of big European teams who are accustomed to winning major honours.

However, Liverpool will not allow any of their star players to leave Anfield without a fight, and they are prepared to dismantle their wage structure to keep their star men as they look to win the Premier League title soon.

The Reds are reportedly planning to offer Mohamed Salah and Emre Can new deals worth over 200,000 pounds per week to keep them both happy at Anfield.

Can has under six months left on his current Liverpool contract and he could walk free after this season after rejecting the Red’s previous contract offers, but Liverpool are prepared to make the German their first 200k a week star.

Salah has had a stunning first season for the Reds and he is in line to win the Premier League’s golden boot at the end of this season, his performances has attracted the attention of the likes of Real Madrid and other top European teams. Liverpool hopes to offer him a new deal worth in excess of 200k a week to reflect his latest form.
