Liverpool have launched a £80 million bid for Juventus star, Paolo Dybala following the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo this week.
The Old Ladies are set to sign Ronaldo for a record £99 million after Real Madrid and the player confirmed the move on social media.
His arrival at the home of the Italian champions means they would have to sell some of their star men to avoid being sanctioned for breaking FFP Rules, and Liverpool want to give them a helping hand.
Sun Sport reports that the Reds see Dybala as a good replacement for Philippe Coutinho who joined Barcelona in the January transfer window and they are prepared to pay as much as £80 million for his signature.
Dybala is seen as a better option to Nabil Fekir whom the Reds came close to signing last month before they pulled the plug on the deal for fear of a reoccurrence of an injury he has suffered multiple times before.
Dybala is currently enjoying an extended break, but he may find it hard to deal with the fact that he is no longer the main man in Turin.
