Liverpool join race for Chelsea and Manchester United target

The race for the signature of Leon Bailey is hitting up by the day as he continues his stunning season.

The Jamaican has been one of the most outstanding Bayer Leverkusen players this season, and his form has led them to the brink of returning to the Champions League.

He has been a long-term target of Chelsea and the Blues reportedly bided £26 million for his signature in last month’s transfer window. Bayer believes he is worth more and the Blues are prepared to go back for him in the next transfer window.

Reports from Daily Star is claiming that Liverpool have entered the fray for his signature as they continue to search for more attacking players. The Reds lost Philippe Coutinho and Daniel Sturridge last month, and they know they would need more squad depth if they want to challenge for trophies next season.

Klopp is looking to use his German connection to land him, but he would not come to Anfield on a cheap deal.

Manchester United are also looking to sign him on as Jose Mourinho still hasn’t signed a new winger that he craved for most of last summer’s transfer window.
