Kevin Stefanski Believes ‘Fisherman’ Travis Hunter Can Excel at Both CB and WR

As the 2025 NFL Draft looms, Travis Hunter is one of the top prospects in the first round. The question now is how he’ll manage the dual responsibilities at the pro level.

Balancing the physical demands of both positions is one challenge. But equally important will be managing the mental workload.

Despite these demands, Cleveland Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski believes Hunter is more than capable of handling it. “Travis is somebody that is uniquely equipped to do both,” Stefanski said Wednesday, via team transcript. “You know, I remember having a conversation with him about, there’s only so many hours in the day, so you’re going to have to meet extra with this coach or that coach, and he made a comment that he’s a fisherman. He gets up at 5 in the morning quite often, so that’s not a problem for him in terms of maximizing his day.”

Hunter’s discipline seem to set him apart from other prospects. His willingness to go above and beyond gives him an edge as he prepares to enter the NFL.
