Manchester City did not have the UEFA Youth League campaign they expected, losing to Inter Milan.
The Citizens hoped to watch their youth team win against Inter’s Under-19s.
But, instead, City’s Under-19s were defeated 4-2 by Milan, which was surprising given their academy’s quality.
Although City took the lead in this match with Farid Alfa-Ruprecht’s strike, it did not last long.
Inter scored three goals in ten minutes courtesy of Thomas Berenbruch, Christos Alexiou, and Matteo Lavelli.
Alfa-Ruprecht scored another goal for the Citizens, but it was just consolation as Inter finally scored their fourth one.
