What was looking like a promising season for CSKA Moscow is finally turning into a nightmare for their fans. The Russians’ time in the Europa League looks like it is just one fixture away from coming to an end as they head into this game. They lost the first leg 4-1 and they now face an uphill task of winning 3-0 at home which looks very unlikely on their current form. They lost their very next game at home to Dynamo Moscow 2-1, so they would not be in the best frame of mind ahead of this match. They can take some inspiration from AS Roma who eliminated Barcelona after the same scoreline in the first leg.
Arsenal have not had the perfect season, but they look like they would be ending the season on a more positive note. Arsene Wenger would consider this season his most difficult at the helm when the Gunners were on a run of four successive defeats back in February. They even won just 4 of their opening 14 games in 2018, but they have since gone on a run of six wins in a row in all competitions. They have also impressively won 4 of their last 5 away games in all competition including a 2-0 win against Milan at the San Siro.
