Chelsea is set to beat Arsenal to the signature of Raphinha despite coming into the party late.
The winger has been linked with a move to Barcelona and Arsenal for a long time now and it seemed the Gunners will sign him.
Mikel Arteta’s side was reportedly close to adding him to their squad alongside, Gabriel Jesus this week.
However, that transfer looks dead in the waters now, with The Daily Mail reporting that Chelsea has reached an agreement with Leeds to sign him.
The report claims the move will happen for around £55million rising to £60million with add-ons.
This would be a huge blow to Arsenal and it shows that Chelsea’s new owners are serious about making the club great again.
They have also been linked with a move for Raheem Sterling and Matthijs de Ligt.
If these three deals go through, their fans will expect their club to be competing for titles in the next campaign.
