Crystal Palace vs Liverpool: Preview and Expert Football Prediction

Liverpool will travel to Selhurst Park this Saturday to face Patrick Vieira’s Crystal Palace side. The hosts have struggled in 2023, taking just four points from the 24 points available. Their last outing was a 1-1 draw, with Brentford making it eight successive games without a victory for the Eagles (D4, L4). Vieira’s side are also the only winless Premier League club in all competitions this year, so come into this tie sitting just six points above the bottom three. But they will be desperate to win here after recording three successive home draws against top-half opposition.  Read more: Bournemouth vs Manchester City: Preview and Expert Football Prediction Liverpool will be hurting here after losing 5-2 to Real Madrid in the Champions League. The result marked the first time the Reds have conceded five goals at Anfield in the competition reigniting the frustration that’s been apparent all season long. They did win their last two Premier League games against Everton and Newcastle United, keeping clean sheets in both games. Both wins have brought them closer to the top four, where they want to finish this season.  They are currently seven points off Tottenham in fourth place with two games in hand and will be hoping for yet another fruitful visit to Selhurst Park, having won all seven of their last visits here and amassing 22 goals in the process. That said, we can expect a high-scoring affair here, given that there has been over 2.5 goals scored in six of the last nine games between both teams.

Bournemouth vs Manchester City: Preview and Expert Football Prediction

Manchester City will travel to Vitality Stadium this Saturday to face Bournemouth in the 25th Round of the 2022/23 Premier League season.  The hosts come into this tie on the back of a gritty 1-0 win over Wolves last time, breathing life into their fight for survival. That result ended a seven-match winless Premier League run (D2, L5). Still, Cherries manager Gary O’Neil is unlikely to care, with Bournemouth dangling only one point above the drop zone ahead of the round. They will likely drop back to the relegation zone here, given their record against City, as they are winless against City in 17 league meetings (D2, L15) – which coincidentally is the most times one team has met another without winning in English football history. Read more: Crystal Palace vs Liverpool: Preview and Expert Football Prediction  Meanwhile, City will be desperate to get back to winning after dropping points in their last two games against Nottingham Forest and RB Leipzig in the Champions League. Both games saw them score first in the first half but conceded late second-half goals.  Still, they have been given a 52.5% chance by Opta Analyst to win the league ahead of their chase of a 200th PL away victory despite sitting two points behind Arsenal ahead of this game.  Given their record in this game, we can expect another high-scoring affair with over 2.5 goals scored.

Leicester City vs Arsenal: Preview and Expert Football Prediction

Arsenal will continue their quest for the Premier League title this Saturday when they travel to King Power Stadium to face Leicester City.  The Foxes come into this tie after a disappointing 3-0 loss to Manchester United. The loss ended a four-game unbeaten run for the hosts (W3, D1) and saw them fail to score for the fourth time in the last ten games. They will be desperate to return to winning easily here, yet have a terrible record against the Gunners, having lost their last four games against Mikel Arteta’s side. However, the Premier League leaders returned to the top of the league table after coming from a goal down to record a 4-2 win over Aston Villa. Read more: Empoli vs Napoli: Preview and Expert Football Prediction The win ended a run of four games without a win (D1, L3) for the North Londoners and restored some belief that they can indeed go the length to win the title. Having scored more than one goal in seven of their last nine away victories in the league, we shouldn’t expect Arsenal to take their foot off the gas here. Therefore, the correct prediction for this game will be over 2.5 goals and BTTS/GG.

Fulham vs Wolves: Preview and Expert Football Prediction

Fulham will welcome Wolves to Craven Cottage this Friday in the first fixture of this weekend’s Premier League action. Fulham come into this tie in good form, having won their last three games in all competitions. Their last outing was a 1-0 win over Brighton in the Premier League, placing them just four points behind Tottenham in fourth position. That result also left them with at least ten more points than they accrued in their last two Premier League campaigns. So they will feel confident about continuing that good form here, especially as only Manchester United have won more PL games than Fulham’s six since the restart (W6, D1, L2).  Read more: Manchester United vs Barcelona: Preview and Expert Football Prediction Three clean sheets in their last three PL games will also give them the belief that they can defeat this Wolves side struggling to score goals. The visitors are the joint-lowest scorers in the league this season, with only 17 goals scored in 23 games. They failed to score in their last game against Bournemouth, the side with the league’s worst defence. But they aren’t a bad side under  Julen Lopetegui, who has led them to four wins in eight PL games (D1, L3). Wolves also have a good record against Fulham as they are unbeaten in five head-to-heads against the hosts (W3, D2). Therefore, considering the hosts’ defensive solidity and the visitors’ struggles in front of the goal, we can expect a low-scoring affair with under 2.5 goals.

Tottenham vs West Ham: Preview and Expert Football Prediction

After recording a narrow loss to AC Milan in the Champions League, Tottenham will turn their attention to their quest for a top-four finish in the Premier League as they host West Ham this Sunday. Antonio Conte’s men come into this tie on the back of a 1-0 loss to AC Milan in the UCL. The loss made it two consecutive losses for the North London side following a 4-1 loss to Leicester City in the Premier League last weekend. Read more: PSG vs Lille: Preview and Expert Football Prediction  Yet, they come into this tie sitting just two points outside the top four and could climb into the top four if they win this game and fourth-placed Newcastle lose to Liverpool. Yet they remain close to relegation, with just two points separating them from the 18th-placed team. They will like to put some daylight between them and the drop zone with a win here. Having lost just one of their last four PL games against Spurs (W2, D1), they will fancy their chances of getting a win here.  Click here for Football Prediction for today.

Manchester United vs Leicester City: Preview and Expert Football Prediction

Manchester United will welcome Leicester City to Old Trafford this Sunday for the 24th round of the 2022/23 Premier League season. The Red Devils come into this tie off the back of a disappointing 2-2 draw with Barcelona in the Europa League. Despite going home with a point from the game, goal-scorer Marcus Rashford revealed that his side felt like they lost the game. They will look to take three points here, though, and keep their slim chances of winning the PL title alive. Erik ten Hag’s side are on the fringes of a title race as they are just five points off top-spot ahead of the round.  The boss has been reluctant to label his side as contenders. Still, you would back them to at least keep up the pressure on Manchester City and Arsenal with another three-point haul against Leicester City, given they’ve won 13 of their last 14 home games in all competitions (D1).  Read more: PSG vs Lille: Preview and Expert Football Prediction  But Leicester are a team in form, having won their last two games by a combined scoreline of 8-3. The Foxes eased relegation fears with two consecutive comeback wins over Aston Villa and Tottenham in the Premier League. So they will come into this game in a confident mode. They also have a good record in this fixture, having won three of the last six H2Hs (D2, L1). Yet the fact they have yet to keep a league clean sheet since the World Cup restart means they cannot be backed for a direct win here. So the best prediction for this game is for both teams to score. Aston Villa vs Arsenal: Preview and Expert Football Prediction

Arsenal will look to get back to winning ways when they travel to Birmingham this Saturday to face Aston Villa. The hosts, like their opponents, come into this tie looking to get back to winning ways after suffering a 3-1 defeat to Manchester City last weekend. The loss was the second loss in a row for Unai Emery’s men and also saw them concede 3+ goals for the second game in a row after recording a 4-2 loss to Leicester City before their latest loss. While those high-scoring affairs may have been exciting to watch for neutrals, the fact that they have kept just two clean sheets from their last 12 matches will make it difficult for the 11th-placed Villa to break into the top half of the table. Read more: Sassuolo vs Napoli: Preview and Expert Football Prediction Arsenal dropped from first place to second last Wednesday as they were beaten 3-1 by fellow title challengers Manchester City. The loss sliced their once eight-point lead and capped off a four-game winless run (D1, L3) for Mikel Arteta’s side, who will be desperate to get back to winning ways against their former manager. They can find confidence that they have won four of their last six visits to Villa Park (L2), making it their second-most winning away PL ground with 13 victories after their 14 wins at West Ham. Nottingham Forest vs Manchester City: Preview and Expert Football Prediction

Nottingham Forest will welcome Manchester City to City Ground this Saturday as both sides battle for three points. Forest endured a poor outing last time as they were beaten 2-0 by Fulham. However, the game was characterised by injuries to centre-backs Willy Boly and Scott McKenna inside the first ten minutes, so Steve Cooper will count that loss as a fluke result.  Since they are unbeaten in this stadium since losing to Fulham in September (W4, D3), they will be confident of a good result when they host City.  Read more: Inter Milan vs Udinese: Preview and Expert Football Prediction   The Premier League defending champions reclaimed the top spot thanks to a 3-1 win over Arsenal at the Emirates on Wednesday. The win made it two consecutive wins for City and ended a run of two straight PL away defeats.  Given that they have won their last nine PL games against promoted sides while scoring an average of 3.56 goals per game, another high-scoring affair can be expected here. Therefore, the best prediction for this game will be over 2.5 goals.

Arsenal vs Manchester City: Preview and Expert Football Prediction

It’s the top-of-the-table clash in the Premier League this Wednesday as league leaders Arsenal take on defending champions Manchester City. The Gunners come into this tie just three points ahead of City with a game in hand, so there is a chance that Pep Guardiola’s side will overtake them here if they drop points. That makes this tie a must-win for Mikel Arteta’s title chasers. However, they come into this tie in dire form, having not won in three competitive games (D1, L2). Although their last game saw a VAR error. Arteta will hope the conditions are okay in this game as he attempts to beat his mentor. Read more: AC Milan vs Tottenham: Preview and Expert Football Prediction Guardiola is the only manager Arteta has failed to beat in the PL  (L5), and City have also emerged victorious the last ten times these clubs have faced each other in this competition. So, the Catalan coach will feel confident here. Yet his team’s run of three losses in the last seven games (W4) shows that things can go wrong for them if they lose focus. With three clean sheets in the last five meetings between both sides, we can expect a low-scoring affair when both teams meet. However, given the league position of both teams and the magnitude of this game, we can expect a cagey affair. So a bet of under 2.5 goals could be the best prediction for this game.

Liverpool vs Everton: Preview and Expert Football Prediction

Everton will make the short trip across Stanley Park this Monday to face their fierce city rivals Liverpool in the 62nd Premier League edition of the Merseyside Derby. The hosts have been the dominant side in this historic fixture, with 26 wins in the last 61 PL meetings. But they come into this fixture in terrible form, having failed to win a league game in 2023 (D1, L3). They were last beaten 3-0 by Wolverhampton Wanderers–a result that extended their wait for a league goal to three consecutive games. Read more: Napoli vs Cremonese: Preview and Expert Football Prediction But they will return to Anfield, where they are unbeaten in six competitive games (W3, D3), hoping their home crowd will cheer them on.  Although Everton are currently locked in the relegation zone, they will come into this fixture in a good mood, having recorded their first win since October in their last outing. The Toffees beat Arsenal 1-0 at Goodison Park last weekend in what was their first game under new manager Sean Dyche. The win ended a run of ten games without a win for Everton (D2, L8), moving them closer to surfacing above the bottom three. Dyche has brought excitement to the blue half of Merseyside and will surely receive backing from the fans in this game. He will hope to repeat that winning feat at Anfield, where his side have won only once since the turn of the millennium (D10, L14). That said, click here to get the betting tips today for this game.
