Tottenham and Chelsea will face off in this tough London derby match with both clubs looking to earn the bragging rights over their rivals. They have both started this season brightly, but Tottenham has lost a league game while Chelsea remains unbeaten despite playing Liverpool with ten men weeks back. Spurs won their first three league matches to stay top of the Premier League table before the international break. However, after it, they have been beaten 3-0 by Crystal Palace and they could only manage a draw at Rennes in their European fixture in midweek. They will be keen to win this game and bring some much needed encouragement to their fans, but Chelsea are no pushovers. The European champions have started this campaign brightly and they have won all but one of their league fixtures so far. They also did well in their first European game in midweek when they defeated Zenit Saint Petersburg 1-0 in the Champions. The highlight of their season has been playing the second half of their match against Liverpool with ten men and still not losing the game. They will be keen to win another league game here to go level on points with Liverpool who currently top the league standings. Chelsea has lost none of their four matches against Spurs in all competitions.

Manchester United will visit West Ham and their former manager David Moyes for this Premier League match hopeful of coming back home with a three points. The Red Devils suffered a shock 2-1 loss at Young Boys in the Champions League in midweek. That loss was Cristiano Ronaldo’s second game back with them and he scored their only goal. They will bank on him to start and be among the goals for them in this match as well. They beat Newcastle United 4-1 in their last league game thanks to a brace from Ronaldo. However, West Ham will be tougher opponents, as the Hammers have made much progress under the management of Moyes. They nearly finished last season inside the top four and they have started this campaign in similarly bright form with two wins and two draws from their opening four league games. They were in stunning form in Europe in midweek when they defeated Dynamo Zagreb 2-0 away. They will feel confident of getting a result in this game, but they have a poor record against United. Despite their fine form last season, the Red Devils beat them home and away and United has won all their last three heads to heads in all competitions.

Leicester City will hope to continue their recent impressive form against Manchester City and Jamie Vardy will hope to score against them yet again in this match. City started the campaign with a 1-0 loss at Tottenham but they have since secured consecutive 5-0 wins against Norwich and Arsenal. The Cityzens will want to extend their winning run to three in this game, but they know it won’t be easy for them to achieve that. This game would see these teams face each other for the second competitive match in this campaign. They played the Community Shield with Leicester beating City 1-0 and Brendan Rodgers’ side will want another win here. City won on their last visit to this stadium, but they lost at home 5-2 to this Leicester in the reverse of that fixture last season and they would be careful not to give the Foxes the chance to run riot in this game. Leicester won their only home fixture of this campaign, but they ended last season with a dreadful home form that saw them lost final two home games 4-2 each. City has lost their last three away games in all competitions including the last match of last season, and would want to change that in this fixture.

Atletico will continue their quest to retain the La Liga title when they take on Villarreal in this match. Diego Simeone’s side has the chance to keep this title with Real Madrid looking devoid of ideas and Barcelona struggling on and off the pitch. They have bolstered their squad with some exciting names and will still trust Luis Suarez to get them more than enough goals in this campaign. Unai Emery has turned Villarreal into one of the best clubs in Spain and they will look to break into the top four this season. They won the Europa League last season and will compete in the Champions League in this campaign. Atletico has won their opening two games of the new season which keeps them closer to the top of the league table in this early days of the season. Villarreal has started their campaign with consecutive draws and it is certainly not what they would have wanted. They have the chance to kick-start their season in this match and if they can earn a huge win against Atletico, they could go on a long winning run. Winning for Villarreal would be easier said than done as Atleti has won three of the last five head to head between both clubs and hasn’t lost any of those fives.

Liverpool will host European champions, Chelsea in this very exciting Premier League game at Anfield. They have welcomed back long-term absentees, Joe Gomez and Virgil van Dijk to their squad. Their squad now looks like the one that won them the league title in 2019/2020 and Jurgen Klopp will be confident ahead of this game. Thomas Tuchel has turned Chelsea into one of the hardest clubs to beat in the Premier League. The Blues have won the Champions League and reached the final of the FA Cup last season. Their two wins from two this season suggest they are prepared to go all the way in the EPL in this campaign and they will play for maximum points in this game. Both teams won this fixture away in the Premier League last season, but Liverpool has three wins from their last five head to heads.

Nuno Espirito Santo will face his immediate former club when Tottenham visits Wolves for this match. The Portuguese manager has made a fine start to his Tottenham reign after beating Manchester City 1-0 on Matchday one. They lost their next competitive game in the Europa Conference League in midweek, but they would still be confident that they can earn another three Premier League points here. Harry Kane was left at home for Tottenham’s European commitment in midweek, but the striker could be given a runout in this match. Adama Traore has been linked with a move to Tottenham and he looks to be one man that Bruno Lage will rely on for goals in this campaign. His speed and strength will test Tottenham’s defence, but Wolves will also have to worry about Son Heung-min.
