Everton who are also archrivals to Liverpool would be tasked with doing Liverpool a favour yet again and cause Manchester City to drop points, however, the Toffees are not in their best form heading into this game. Everton have won just four of their last 14 games in all competitions and they have lost 8 of those games. Their head to head against Manchester City is also not impressive as they have won just one of their last 12 league meetings with the Premier League defending champions.

The Blues have reached the Carabao Cup final after overturning a first leg 1-0 loss to Tottenham and reached the next round of the FA Cup after beating Shefield Wednesday at the weekend. They are currently well on course to finish inside the top four while they are still competing for the FA Cup and the Europa League, so it looks like this season could end with yet another silverware for the Blues. Bournemouth would also be happy coming into this game after they secured a much needed 2-0 win over West Ham United the last time out. Prior to that win, they were on a run of 4 losses in 5 games and they would be hoping to build a winning run with another victory here.
