RB Leipzig vs Bayer Leverkusen Match Preview, Football Prediction and Betting Tips

RB Leipzig head into this game in confidence mood after their 1-0 win over Olympique Marseille in the Europa League on Thursday. That win meant they have been unbeaten in their past 7 games, winning 4 of them. Although they would have their eyes on the return leg of their Europa League match, it is unlikely that they would rest their star men for this game as a victory here would go a long way in helping their quest for Champions League football next season. They also have just 3 points more than their visitors. Bayer Leverkusen have failed to score in consecutive Bundesliga games this season after their 0-0 draw against Augsburg the last time out. They would know that this is a game that they have to win if they are serious about finishing inside the top four at the end of this season. Lucas Alario is still suspended for this game, so Kevin Volland who is without a goal for the last 9 games would be tasked with helping with the goals here again. This game looks almost certain to be a home win because Leipzig tend to play at their very best whenever they host a side inside the top six. They have won 3 and drawn 1 of their last 4 home games against the top six including coming from behind to beat Bayern Munich the last time out.

Barcelona plot loan move for Manchester United misfit after Jose Mourinho begins looking for his replacement

Manchester United flop, Luke Shaw is a target for Spanish giants, Barcelona as the Catalans look to add one more English men to their team sheet. The La Liga champions-elect are currently planning for a summer swoop for Atletico Madrid’s forward, Antoine Griezmann and they have reportedly allocated funds for the transfer of the French man as well as continued payments for Philippe Coutinho’s transfer from Liverpool. According to Sun Sport, the Catalans have also added Luke Shaw to their summer transfer wishlist and incredibly, the left back is close to the top of that list. Shaw signed for Manchester United in the summer of 2014 after he was named in the PFA Team of the Year for that season, he started slowly but picked some form in his second season only to see his campaign end with a horrific leg break that left him sidelined for a long time. When he recovered from that injury he was now under the management of Jose Mourinho, but he has failed to impress the former Chelsea boss so far and their relationship seems to be at an all-time low at the moment. Barcelona would have love to sign him permanently, but their interest in Griezmann and continued payment of Philippe Coutinho’s transfer fee means they would have to settle for an initial loan agreement.

Manchester City vs Manchester United Match Preview, Match Prediction and Betting Tips

This game is one that the fans of Manchester City have been waiting for a long time now as they could potentially win the Premier League title with a win here. Their 3-0 loss to Liverpool on Wednesday would have affected their confidence and Pep Guardiola would have his mind on reversing that scoreline on Tuesday that may see a much-changed line up here. They have lost just once all season and have 7 wins from their last 8 Premier League games, they have won all but one of their last 15 home games, beating the likes of Liverpool, Chelsea, Tottenham, and Arsenal. Manchester United would be looking to delay Manchester City’s title celebration in this game. They are currently 2nd on the league table with a huge 16 points gap between them and they are just two points ahead of Liverpool who are 3rd. Their 2-0 win over Swansea made it 4 wins on the bounce for them in the Premier League. They have, however, struggled away to the top sides having been beaten at both Spurs and Chelsea while drawing at Liverpool.

Everton vs Liverpool Match Preview, Football Prediction and Betting Tips

Despite the fact that they are not currently in a relegation scrap and the fact that they would survive tthat this season, Everton’s form has not been very great recently. The Toffees recorded back-to-back wins in the Premier League for the first time since December prior to last weekend, but they could not continue that good run of form at home against champions-elect, Manchester City the last and they fell to yet another defeat. That was their 8th time they were losing a match in their last 13 games in all competition with only 4 of those games ending in wins. Almost all of their wins and draws from that time have come against teams below them on the league table and they have won only one and lost 6 games against teams above them on the league table. Liverpool may have been eliminated early from all domestic cup competitions this season, but they still have the chance to win a competition as they are still in contention for the Champions League and their performance against Manchester City on Wednesday would have boosted their morale ahead of this game. Mohamed Salah’s injury was the only negative in that game against the Cityzens as he seemed to have picked up a groin injury, however, Liverpool do not lack talent in the attack and Jurgen Klopp may even decide to switch things around a little here to keep his star men fresh for the game at the Etihad on Tuesday. The Reds have 8 wins from their last 12 games, and 3 or more goals have been scored in 9 of those games.

Juan Mata will leave Manchester United next summer and his replacement would come from Chelsea

Jose Mourinho has already begun making plans for next season as he looks to take the Premier League title from Manchester City. The Portuguese manager is already fed up with the form and performance level of some of his star players and he is ready to bring the axe on some of them. One player who would most likely not be at Old Trafford next season is former Chelsea star, Juan Mata whose deal remains just a year. According to Sun Sport, Jose Mourinho is already lining up a replacement for the diminutive Spaniard who was a club record signing from Chelsea in the winter of 2014. Per the reports, the Portuguese tactician has earmarked Chelsea’s Willian as the ideal replacement for Mata. Willian was close to joining the Red Devils last summer, but changed his mind and decided to remain at Stamford Bridge. The Brazilian’s current deal runs out in the summer of 2020, so Chelsea do have a strong hand in negotiations and they would reportedly demand for the same 30 million they paid for his service five years ago.

Deportivo La Coruna vs Malaga Match Preview, Match Prediction and Betting Tips

There is almost nothing these two teams can do to stop themselves from playing this fixture the next time in the Segunda division as they have just 37 points between them this season, we still believe in miracles though. Depor are the form and position favourites going into this clash and a win here would help them close the gap with 17th placed Levante to 5 points, however, that may still not happen as they have not won any of their last 15 games and they still have no wins under their current manager, Clarence Seedorf. Malaga know that With 8 games to go, they would need to more than double the 17 points they currently have before they can stay out of the relegation zone. That is very unlikely at the moment even though they secured a shock win over Villarreal last weekend except they can build on that and hope that other results goes their way. Malaga have lost 80% of their away games this season, they have the worst away record in the league as well as the worst goalscoring record in the La Liga. Depor have been doing better defensively recently as can be confirmed by their 1-0 loss at Atletico Madrid the last time.

Saint-Etienne vs Paris Saint-Germain Match Preview, Football Prediction and Betting Tips

The in-form Saint-Etienne host an equally in-form PSG side  in this game and they would be hoping to stop the Champions-elect as well as continue their impressive goalscoring record at home in this game. Saint-Etienne have been putting in some impressive performances recently and they have put together a good run of form that has seen them go unbeaten in their last 9 games, winning 5 and drawing the rest. They won their last two outings against Guingamp and Nantes and they would be looking to build on that here. PSG have been in great form over the past few weeks especially on the attack despite the absence of Neymar who is expected to still spend some time on the sidelines. They have netted 12 times in their last 4 games with Metz, Angers, Nice and Monaco all being rolled over by the in-form Kylian Mbappe and Edison Cavani. The Parisians are just five goals away from breaking into the 100-goal a season group of teams and they could get there in this game except Saint Etienne puts in one of their very good defensive performance. PSG have 20 wins and 6 losses from the last 37 meetings between these sides.
