AC Milan striker Alvaro Morata was happy after the club’s Champions League victory at former team Real Madrid. Morata scored in the shocking 3-1 victory on Tuesday night.  He later said, “It was an important match, for us, for the fans and for the club. We had to fight like lions and today we played a great match. We were both clear-headed with the ball and suffered together. “Let’s stay on the same page, we don’t have to set off fireworks. It’s important to win here. “Right emotion, 300 kilometres from here people are going through hell. Benfica legend afraid to lose Carreras to Manchester United

Former Benfica defender Alvaro Magalhaes has some worries about losing Alvaro Fernandez Carreras, a key player for the club. The Primeira Liga side signed Carreras from Manchester United permanently during the summer transfer window.  Considering his noteworthy performance in local games, Magalhaes believes that Manchester boos Ruben Amorim will trigger a buy-back clause to get Carreras back to Old Trafford in January.  Magalhaes, while speaking to A Bola, said: “I only fear that Ruben Amorim will take him to Manchester United. “It seems to me that he has the quality to be one of the first options and looking at the squad I believe that with the new coaching staff he could be a possibility again, especially because the new coach knows him very well from what he saw of him at Benfica.” “The decision is not just in the club’s hands,” Magalhaes said.

PSG coach Enrique admits turning down Atletico Madrid

Ahead of PSG meeting Atletico Madrid in the Champions League, Les Parisiens coach Luis Enrique recalled turning down a job from Madrid in 2011.  “The interest was true, but I had already given my word to another club. Although Atlético was very lucky because I would not have been half of the years it has been with Simeone. I don’t have that energy. Luck had the love of Atlético,” smiled Enrique. “Tomorrow I will see Mr. Simeone again with him. I already coincided as a player. He is a top coach. I admire when I see that a coach has been in a big club for so many years. I know how difficult it is to convince his players and when he is there for so many years he can only be a top coach. “It will be a very difficult game that collectively knows what they play and individually they have a lot of quality.” He added, “We arrived at the equator of a competition in which we do not know what can happen. We focus on tomorrow’s game and do things better than the rival to be closer to victory.”

Inter Miami boss Martino end rumours about a Neymar reunion

Inter Miami coach Tata Martino cannot promise that Al Hilal player Neymar will join his club. Although Neymar just bought property in Miami, his former Barca coach has played down the possibility of a reunion.  Martino said: “The thing is that we are throwing names around for the sake of it. You can’t talk so easily and freely about footballers who might or might not come. I think that when we talk about this, we need another kind of support. “We can’t talk and mention a player just because he bought a house or because he started dating a girl from Fort Lauderdale. It would be nonsense. First, we have to analyze what the league offers and if this is really possible. Based on that, today this is impossible, so there is no more continuity in the conversation.” The Argentine also said: “If all those who buy a house are going to come and play for Inter, we are in trouble, so they should close the real estate agency.” (He joked). I arrived at Barcelona at the same time as Ney, it was a good year and for me being able to manage players of such high standing will be a special memory, but nothing more than that.”
