Strasbourg are in all kinds of trouble at the wrong time and they would have wanted to avoid playing AS Monaco at the moment. Strasbourg have been the most impressive of the three teams that were promoted to the Ligue 1 last season and they were the first team to beat PSG this season, but they do not look like a team that can get a result in this game at the moment. Their 2-1 win against Bordeaux at the weekend means they are now 4 points ahead of Marseille.  Their remaining fixtures look good for Monaco and they should finish inside the top two. However, their poor run earlier in the season shows that they could be very vulnerable at the back too. Monaco have won 10 and drawn 3 of their last 16 meetings with Strasbourg.

Borussia Dortmund have experienced tough times this season and their early season poor form robbed them of the chance of winning the Bundesliga. However, since the appointment of Peter Stoeger, they have not lost a game in 12 attempts and their 1-1 draw with RB Leipzig the last time out makes it 6 wins and 6 draws from those games. They won their first knockout stage match against Atalanta at home before drawing the second leg 1-1 in Italy to set up this tie. Marco Reus has been very influential since returning from a long-term injury and he could be the difference here again. They defeated Real Sociedad in the last round by 4-3 to set up this match and they would be looking to carry on that goal-scoring threat to this game. They have 13 goals from their 15 away games, conceding 10 in the Process. This is the first meeting between these two sides.  

Arsenal’s woes are set to continue as they head to Milan for the Round of 32 Europa League match to face AC Milan. The Gunners have had a tough time recently and they head into this game on the back of four consecutive losses and 5 losses from their last 6 games. With Pressure mounting on Arsene Wenger, his players would do well to win this competition and secure passage into the Champions League for next season. They lost 4-0 to Milan the last time they visited the San Siro and that could well be the case here again. The Gunners have a poor record away from home this season as they have won just 29% of their away games in the league. Milan have hit top form recently after slumping and falling down to the bottom half of the table. Genaro Gattuso has turned their fortune around and they head into this match unbeaten in their last 13 in all competitions. They defeated Lazio in the Coppa Italia semifinal last week to set up and grandstand finale with Juventus. They have five wins from their last six matches and they did not play a game this weekend so they would be fresh for the visit of the Gunners.

Tottenham were clear underdogs in the first leg of this game, but the Lilywhites surprising came back from Turin with 2 away goals and a draw to keep this game open for another 90 minutes at Wembley. Gonzalo Higuain looked to have dumped them out when he netted a brace inside the first 10 minutes, but Harry Kane led the comeback and Spurs would now look to eliminate last season’s finalists in this game. They have won 3 and drawn 1 of their last 4 games, qualifying for the next round of the FA Cup and moving into the top four. They have scored in 22 of their 23 home games this season, and Harry Kane has netted in 31 of 34 Premier League and Champions League games. Juventus remain indomitable in the Serie A and they would climb back to the top if they win their outstanding game after Napoli lost to AS Roma at the weekend. They have won all of their 3 matches since the first leg and they remain unbeaten in their last 20 games. They have scored in all but 2 games this season and they have netted in 17 of their last 18 games away from home. They have both won one, lost one and drawn one of their last 3 meetings together.

Manchester City were clear favourites to reach the quarter-final when this draw was made, but few people expected them to almost finish the job in the first leg. The Cityzens ran out 4-0 victors in that game in Switzerland, putting one foot firmly in the next round. Pep Guardiola’s men surprisingly lost 1-0 to Wigan in their very next game, but they have followed that disappointment up with 3 straight wins, 2 against Arsenal and 1 against Chelsea, netting 7 times and conceding none. They could rest a few players for this game, but the team is filled with top quality even on the bench. FC Basel have struggled since the first leg of this game, going on to lose to St Gallen and Young Boys after that match. They come into this game with no match action since the 27th of last month due to postponements. They netted in 5 of their 7 Champions League games this season, and finished ahead of Benfica and CSKA Moscow to set up this match, they would be looking to at least pull one goal back in this game as they would be under less pressure to perform. The first leg last month was the first time these sides have ever met.
