Barcelona are prepared to splash £132 million on signing Philippe Coutinho next month.
The Spaniards were desperate to sign the Brazilian last summer and made three bids with the last being a reported £117 million, but Liverpool refused to sell.
Coutinho on his part, submitted a written transfer request to make the deal go through, but the Reds remain adamant that he would not be sold.
The attacker has recovered well from an injury that kept him out of action early on to help the Reds reach the Champions League knock out phase, as well as enter inside the top four.
According to Sport via Daily Mail, the Blaguranas are prepared to bid for Coutinho again next month, as they seek to avoid a bidding war next summer.
They know that they would need to at least match the £132 million the signed Ousmane Dembele from Borussia Dortmund if they want to get Liverpool to sell, and that is what they are prepared to do.
Per the reports, the Spanish giants have met with Coutinho and his agent to agree personal terms, and they now want to table a bid for his signature.
Although the Reds have agreed to sell, but it would be difficult for them to allow the Brazilian leave next month.
