Liverpool have reportedly agreed personal terms with Brighton and Hove Albion midfielder Alexis Mac Allister to sign the midfielder set to undergo a medical with the club on Tuesday.
According to 90min, Jurgen Klopp’s men are leading the race for the Argentina international’s signature and want to finalise a deal for him this week.
Liverpool have maintained a long-term interest in Mac Allister but made him a priority signing this summer after missing out on Borussia Dortmund’s Jude Bellingham.
The Reds had wanted to sign the English teenager but were priced out of the deal as Dortmund’s asking price was too much for them. However, they also felt that other clubs like Manchester City and Real Madrid would be able to offer more to Bellingham, so they turned their attention to Mac Allister.
