Everton will continue their quest for Premier League survival this Sunday when they welcome title-chasing Manchester City to Goodison Park.
The hosts took a giant step toward beating relegation last Monday night with a dramatic 5-1 win over high-flying Brighton away from home. That win ended a run of 15 consecutive away games without a win for The Toffees and was also the first time Sean Dyche’s men scored five times away from home since Boxing Day 2018.
Dyche will be hoping that his side’s display at the Amex is a sign of his side’s resurging, especially in attack, where they had held the record of fewest goals scored before that win.

Goals have been tough to come at home this season for the Merseysiders, as they have scored more than once in just one PL home game.
Having climbed out of relegation last Monday with two points ahead of the bottom three, they will believe more than ever that they can beat the drop. However, the visit from Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City is often a tough task for the Toffees, whose last win in this fixture was a memorable 4-0 win in 2017.
City have dominated this fixture since that result, winning ten of the last 12 competitive meetings.
The visitors also come into this tie on a run of ten straight league wins, a feat they have now achieved on five occasions under Guardiola. No other manager can match that many 10+ winning streaks in Premier League history.
Their 1-1 draw in Real Madrid on Tuesday means they are unbeaten in 20 competitive games, too, making them the clear favourites for a win here. Yet, their Champions League semi-final tie with Madrid on Wednesday could distract them here, as Pep Guardiola is expected to rotate his squad.Click here to get direct win predictions.
