Amazon has been named as one of the potential buyers of Manchester United after the Glazers agreed to put the club up for sale following consistent protests over their unpopular ownership of the EPL side.
United has been owned by the Americans for 17 years, but much of the last decade has been unsuccessful and they have not won a Premier League title since Sir Alex Ferguson quit as their manager.
The EPL side is being rebuilt under Erik Ten Hag who has enjoyed the support of the Glazers, but fans still want them out and believe they have run the club wrongly since they became its owners.
After being initially reluctant to leave, they have now agreed to sell and get new partners through the door, which has delighted several of their fans around the world.
Matchplug understands the Glazers want around £7bn to sell, but experts consider that fee too much, which means they could be stuck as owners unless they bring down their asking price.
