The reigning WNBA champions, the New York Liberty, made their mark at the 2025 Met Gala. Sabrina Ionescu, Breanna Stewart, and Jonquel Jones stepping out in style at the iconic fashion event. The Met gala, which celebrates the intersection of fashion, brings together cultural figures and style icons from various fields.
Max Hollein, The Met’s Marina Kellen French Director and Chief Executive Officer, highlighted the event’s role in celebrating creativity. “The Met Gala brings together cultural figures and style icons from across a wide array of fields to celebrate and support art and fashion.”
Joining the Liberty trio at the star-studded event were Chicago Sky center Angel Reese and NBA legend Dwyane Wade.
While Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James was named an honorary co-chair for the event, he was unable to attend due to an injury.
