West Ham will welcome London rivals Chelsea to London Stadium this Saturday for their 23rd Round fixture of the 2022/23 Premier League.
West Ham come into this tie on the back of a hard-fought 1-1 draw with high-flying Newcastle United–a result manager David Moyes branded “one of our best performances of the season.”
The result means the Hammers have only lost one of their last six games in all competitions (W3, D2), pulling out of the Premier League’s relegation zone.

They will hope to build on that result and record back-to-back home wins for the first time since October. However, Moyes has a poor record against Chelsea as he has suffered more defeats against them than any other team except Manchester City, with a staggering 26 losses in 45 fixtures (W7, D12).
Chelsea coach Graham Potter will hope they can take advantage of that poor record. However, they travel to East London on a dodgy form, having recorded just one win in their last seven competitive games (D3, L3). that run included back-to-back 0-0 draws in their last two games, meaning that they are unbeaten in their last three games while keeping a clean sheet in each game.
