Manchester United defender Raphael Varane was in tears last night after he injured himself in the game between United and Chelsea.
The Frenchman has been injury-prone since he moved to United and suffered what appeared to be another severe injury in the game against the Blues.
The defender was trying to cut out a pass to Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang when he leg snapped and he was in tears afterwards.
The defender seems to have suffered a serious injury and now his chances of making the World Cup is slim, with the competition just four weeks away.
The defender’s injury will also be a blow to Manchester United who have used him as their first choice centre back alongside Lisandro Martinez so far.
