They have both started this season brightly, but Tottenham has lost a league game while Chelsea remains unbeaten despite playing Liverpool with ten men weeks back.
Spurs won their first three league matches to stay top of the Premier League table before the international break.
However, after it, they have been beaten 3-0 by Crystal Palace and they could only manage a draw at Rennes in their European fixture in midweek.
They will be keen to win this game and bring some much needed encouragement to their fans, but Chelsea are no pushovers.
The European champions have started this campaign brightly and they have won all but one of their league fixtures so far.
They also did well in their first European game in midweek when they defeated Zenit Saint Petersburg 1-0 in the Champions.
The highlight of their season has been playing the second half of their match against Liverpool with ten men and still not losing the game.
