Shaedon Sharpe hit his best dunk in Portland VS Wizard game

Shaedon Sharpe delivered the best dunk of his career with a powerful one-handed slam over Washington’s Justin Champagnie.

The 21-year-old Portland player has been impressive since he was drafted in 2022, it didn’t take long for his dunking talents to be noticed and praised as one of the season’s best. Sharpe showed out in a standout performance in Portland’s 129-121 win over the Wizards.

Sharpe dunked with such power that he briefly fell to the court after the ball went through the net.

After the game, Portland coach Chauncey Billups praised the slam saying, “I just started like laughing, like, ‘Wow, man. Poor kid up under him,” “That was pretty incredible.”

“I don’t know where he got it from,” Blazers forward Deni Avdija said. “I asked him on the bench, ‘If I’m going to work as hard as I can, will I be able to jump like you?’ I don’t know, it’s just genes.”

When asked what motivated him to dunk that hard, Shaedon Sharpe explained, ‘I seen the dude in the way,” “so I just jumped and tried to dunk it. And it went in.”
