Real Madrid and plotting a swoop for Manchester City star, Raheem Sterling as the England attacker continues to reject the Cityzens offer of a new contract.
Sterling has just two years left on his current deal and he has been in negotiations with the Premier League winners over extending his current deal.
However, both parties seem to be very far from reaching an agreement.
Sterling scored 23 goals last season and he was hoping that a good performance at the World Cup would see his value skyrocket, but he wasn’t very impressive in the competition even though the Three Lions reached the semifinals.
Reports claim that Real Madrid are monitoring his situation and Los Blancos plan to make a move for him next summer.
They are hoping he would not have signed an extension at that time and would make a similar cut-price move as Thibaut Courtois did this summer.
Sterling has said that he would love to test himself outside of England when he leaves Manchester City, Los Blancos would be a big chance he would want to take.
