Real Madrid have entered the race to sign Atletico Madrid attacker Antoine Greizmann and they are willing to sell Gareth Bale to make room for him.
Los Blancos are already planning for next season with numerous reports linking them with the signing of some of Europe’s best players and they have added Greizmann to their list of targets.
Griezmann was reportedly close to signing for Manchester United last summer before deciding against the move, but he looks set to leave after this season as Atleti’s transfer ban would have been lifted.
The French man has a £90 million release clause on his current deal and Real Madrid are confident that they would be able to afford it even though they would need to offload Gareth Bale.
Bale has been plagued by injuries once again this season and Real Madrid and prepared to sell him for £110 million, with Manchester United interested.
However, Bale’s injury woes is set to see Real Madrid significantly less than they paid for him in the summer of 2013.
Griezmann could be the first of many arrivals expected at the Bernabeu next season with the English duo of Dele Ali and Harry Kane also touted to become Galacticos.
