Christiano Ronaldo is free to leave Real Madrid if he wishes to, but he would have to buy out his current deal for £177 million.
It is believed Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has grown tired of the cocky Portuguese star and does not want to give in to his new contract demands.
Ronaldo who just won his fifth Balon d’ Or title is looking for a new deal that would potentially make him the highest paid player in the world, but Perez does not consider him the best player in the world any more.
Ronaldo however, disagree and wants to be paid as the best player in the world.
Perez is reportedly willing to sell Ronaldo but there is a severe shortage of takers willing to pay £880 billion fee to release him from his current contract.
According to reports in Spain, Perez is only happy to keep Ronaldo because of his commercial pull, but does not see him as a valuable player on the pitch any more.
Per the source Real Madrid’s plans to bring Neymar to the Bernabeu in the summer of 2019 is one of the major reason why they are running out of patience with Ronaldo.
