Real Madrid attacker Marco Asensio will reportedly leave Real Madrid when his contract at the club expires this summer.
The Spanish forward will become a free agent at the end of the season. Los Blancos had wanted to keep him beyond this summer, but he has chosen to leave and rejected a contract extension, according to Relevo via GOAL.
Per the report, Asensio’s agent, Jorge Mendes, has been in talks with Madrid since December, but both parties could not agree, so Asensio will be leaving this summer.

Asensio joined Madrid in 2015 from Mallorca, but despite his obvious talent, he has never been a guaranteed starter in the Spanish capital. The 27-year-old has started just half of the 30 La Liga matches he has featured this season and just two of his 12 Champions League appearances.
He will now continue his career elsewhere, with plenty of suitors circling for him this summer. French heavyweights Paris Saint-Germain are one of the teams interested in him, while clubs in England and Italy are also in the picture, including Aston Villa.
