Out of favour Liverpool attacker, Daniel Sturridge could finish the current league season in the La Liga, with Real Betis reportedly interested in signing him.
The 28 years old has fallen further down the perking order this season as the Reds’ Fab Four of Philippe Coutinho, Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino, and Mo. Salah have been firing from all cylinders.
Their form has seen the England man starting just five games this season and coming off the bench a further nine times, and he has netted just three goals all season.
Sturridge wants to play at next year’s FIFA World Cup in Russia, but Gareth Southgate has said he would only consider players who featured regularly for their clubs, making the attacker seriously considering a move away from Anfield.
Reports from Spain is claiming that Real Betis are keen on Sturridge, and the recent injury to their star man Antonio Sanabria has made their move for Sturridge now imperative.
Sanabria will be missed greatly after a solid start to the season that saw him net the winner against Real Madrid.
However, his recent injury needed a surgery which means he would spend a long time on the sidelines.
Sturridge would love the Reds to consider their approach even if it means him spending just the next six months there.
