Pittsburgh Steelers All-Pro defensive tackle Cam Heyward is frustrated with the ongoing uncertainty surrounding the team’s quarterback situation for 2025.
On the latest episode of his podcast, Heyward expressed his desire for a resolution, saying he’s “tired of talking about the quarterback situation” and ready to move past free agency.
With the Steelers reportedly pursuing Aaron Rodgers, Heyward offered a straightforward stance when asked about recruiting the four-time MVP.
“I ain’t doing that darkness retreat. I don’t need any of that crap,” Heyward said, referencing Rodgers’ well-publicized retreat before he joined the Jets two years ago. “Either you want to be a Pittsburgh Steeler or you don’t. That’s simple. That’s the pitch. If you want me to recruit, that’s the recruiting pitch. Pittsburgh Steelers. If you want to be part of it, so be it. If you don’t, no skin off my back.”
