Manchester United loanee Jadon Sancho is struggling with form at Borussia Dortmund this winter.
Sancho was loaned from United in the hopes of getting more regular game time.
But, moving back to his old club has not sparked his quality, which has been missing during his whole time at United.
Speaking in a press conference on Thursday, Dortmund boss Edin Terzic said: “[Sancho] said very confidently that his favourite number is ten.
“We know that it can be used very flexibly. But Julian Brandt and Marco Reus did really well on the ten.”
Terzic added: “We know that not everyone is at 100 per cent. Jadon hasn’t played for a long time, he lacks rhythm.
“It’s often the case that the boys come back after a long downtime or a long break. At the beginning, when everything is new and fun again, you fire up straight away. And then every now and then there’s a dip like that.”
