Just when it seemed like the Oklahoma City Thunder would beat Wolves again, the Minnesota Timberwolves turned the game around in the second half.
Already down by 25 points, Minnesota pulled off a shocking 131-128 comeback victory in Oklahoma City on Monday night. Even some Minnesota players doubted that they could finish with a a win.
When asked about the game, Nickeil Alexander-Walker admitted, “Probably not, because this one felt impossible,” “I thought the game was over, but how we finished would set the tone for the next one.”
After an inconsistent season, it’s good to see the Timberwolves are slowly regaining their confidence.
