Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah is still hoping to hear from Bayern Munich in January. Chalobah was linked with Bayern at the end of the summer market but stayed with Chelsea.

Now, Sky Sports Germany is reporting that Chalobah is still on Bayern Munich’s list of potential signings. The Bundesliga club wants to present a loan with a purchase option, but for now, the negotiations have not been set in stone yet. However, the defender is enthusiastic about moving to Bayern.
Aston Villa will try again to get full-back Macros Acuna from Sevilla. The defender who did well in the Europa League last season, was linked to the Premier League club in the summer.

“The exclusive recruitment of very young players – not yet operational and potentially weakened by their over-exposition, combined with the absence of arrivals of more mature players, exposes the club to a sporting risk from which the owners should have better protected us. BlueCo’s imposition of an obligation to buy only very young hopefuls is senseless on a sporting level and the fans don’t relate to their team at the moment.
“The supporters that maintained that, since the purchase of Racing, we are only a training center and a secondary piece in a global business, have gained credit following this transfer window, which seems far from the announced ambition.”
They added: “Money without competence doesn’t lead to anything good, and the example of Chelsea, our so-called ‘big brother’, who have spent a lot of money but have had a vertical fall down the English hierarchy, is an important reference point: We don’t want to incompetence that reigns at Chelsea at RCSA. Major League Baseball has released a statement taking responsibility for the decision that revoked Jim “Mattress Mack’’ McIngvale’s chance to throw the ceremonial first pitch at this past weekend’s ALDS matchup between the Houston Astros and the Minnesota Twins. Mattress Firm released a statement over the weekend stating that they do not decide who throws out the first pitch.

Ex-NFL player Sergio Brown, who was reported missing by the police last month following the brutal murder of his mother, was put in police custody in Southern California, Wednesday in connection to her death, officials said.
Brown was arrested while re-entering the United States through San Diego, from Mexico, per a report by the Maywood Police Department, the agency that reported Brown as a missing person last month.
In a joint effort by both other local and federal law enforcement agencies, the San Diego Police Department apprehended Brown after issuing a warrant for first-degree murder for the killing of his 73-year-old mother, Myrtle Brown, Maywood police wrote in a statement gotten by USA Today.
The police announced in the release that Sergio Brown was awaiting extradition to Illinois to face the homicide charge. San Diego Central Jail records indicate that Brown was booked into the jail just after 3 p.m. Tuesday and held without bail as a fugitive from justice.
Authorities had been looking for the ex-Indianapolis Colts player after his mother was found dead on September 16th in a creek near her home in Maywood, a village in suburban Chicago west of downtown.
Police previously did not say if Brown lived with his mother at the time of her murder, was a person of interest or suspect in connection to her death. On Wednesday, they did not reveal what made them conclude that Sergio was a suspect in Myrtle’s killing.
