Liverpool head to Napoli after a thrilling 1-1 draw at Stamford Bridge on Saturday and Jurgen Klopp’s men would be looking to continue their fine start to the season in this game.

The Reds have looked good so far in their tough run of games that has seen them play Tottenham, PSG,  and Chelsea, with games against Napoli and Manchester City up next. So far, they have only lost to Chelsea thanks in no part to a magical Eden Hazard goal.

They beat PSG in their first Champions group game this season, and they would be going all out for the win here again as they look to reach the final like they did last season. However, Napoli are a good side when they play at home and this game is sure to be a thrilling contest.

Napoli suffered their second defeat of the season at the weekend when they were beaten 3-1 by Juventus. Since the loss of Maurizio Sarri, they have maintained a good form at home and all their three wins this season have come at home.

They were held to a goalless draw in their first Champions League game this season by Red Star Belgrade, however, that was away from home and they won three of four Champions League home games last season.

The only previous competitive encounter between Napoli and Liverpool came in the 2010/11 Europa League group stages, with Napoli claiming a point on home soil but losing 3-1 at Anfield.

However, this match would be tougher for the Red Devils as Valencia have only conceded 8 times in as many games this season even though they have also scored just 5 times.

Real Madrid hosts city rivals Atletico in what is the biggest match of the La Liga season so far, and both teams would be looking to get early bragging rights over the other in this early stages.

The Spanish football experienced something rare in midweek as Barcelona and Real Madrid lost their league game on the same day.

Real Madrid played against Sevilla in midweek, and the host raced to a 3-0 lead in the first half, and Real Madrid could not claw their way back in the second half. That 3-0 loss has made this game even more important added to the fact that the visitors have a good record in this fixture, Madrid fans would not be overly positive for this game.

Atletico Madrid started the season poorly, but they have since returned to form. They were beaten 2-0 by Celta Vigo earlier, before drawing against Eibar. However, they come into this game on the back of three consecutive wins and they would be looking to continue their run in this game.

Atleti are unbeaten in 4 matches against Real Madrid, although the last 3 were all draws after 90 minutes. Atleti were 4-2 winners in the UEFA Super Cup meeting after Extra Time in August. They are unbeaten on their last 5 league visits to the Bernabeu (3 wins, 2 draws).

Jose Mourinho takes his out of form Manchester United team to the London Stadium to face in-form West Ham as they bid to avoid falling too far behind their title rivals.

West Ham started this season so poorly that there had started to be speculations that Manuel Pellegrini would lose his job soon, but the Hammers have turned things around a little for themselves. Their goalless draw against Chelsea last weekend was the second time they had avoided defeat in as many games in the Premier League, and their 8-0 win over Macclesfield Town at the weekend means they are unbeaten in their last 3 competitive games, and they have scored 11 times and conceded just once.

Manchester United’s dressing room is currently divided following a power struggle between Jose Mourinho and Paul Pogba, and the results on the field haven’t helped the Portuguese tactician. The Red Devils were held 1-1 at home by Wolves at the weekend, and they were eliminated from the Carabao Cup in midweek at home again after losing on penalties to Derby County following a 2-2 draw.

These two teams are desperate for results because of two different reasons, and this game would be an interesting one to watch out for.

Liverpool are the only English team who have won all of their league games this season, a run that stretches to 6 games. However, they were dumped out of the Carabao Cup on Wednesday by Chelsea and they would be looking for revenge here.

The Reds made 8 changes to the team that played Chelsea in their last game, so we expect a completely different team to play this game with the likes of Mohamed Salah, and Roberto Firmino returning to the starting line up.

Eden Hazard has been on fire since the beginning of the new season and he has scored 5 league goals already. Liverpool’s front three have also not done badly, as they have netted 10 goals among them already.
