After collecting four points from their last two Premier League games, Manchester United would feel that they can secure a win over Juventus in this game as well.
The Red Devils almost picked up all three points when they visited Chelsea at the weekend, but a 96th-minute leveller from Ross Barkley distributed the spoils. They would now turn their attention to the Champions League.
They have collected 4 points from their opening two games against Young Boys and Valencia. Cristiano Ronaldo would be making a return to Old Trafford in this game and their fans would be hoping that he doesn’t make them pay for their sloppy defending.
Juventus also suffered dropped points at the weekend. The Old Ladies were held to a 1-1 draw by Genoa at home, a result that ended their ten games winning start to the season. They would be looking to bounce back when they visit Old Trafford here, and with Ronaldo returning from suspension, their chances have been boosted significantly.
They have won two of two Champions League games so far, with Manchester United considered their main rival for a top spot in this group, they would be doing all the can to earn maximum points from these next two games.
The last time these teams met was in the group stages of the 2003 Champions League with Manchester United winning both matches.
Patrick Viera’s foray into management in Europe has given him reasons to perform a serious reality check after his hugely successful time in the MLS with NYCFC. His Nice team started the season with no wins from their first three games, but they have since won 3 of their last 6 games to balance things out.
The former Arsenal midfielder has achieved one major thing at the French side, and that is the forming a deadly partnership between Allan Saint-Maximin and Myziane Maolida up front and the two of them look like the players that would fire them back to Europe this season.
This would be one of their biggest game so far and their fans would be hoping that the international break has helped them to get some of the mojos back after they collected just 1 point from their previous two league games.
Marseille are one of the biggest teams in France at the moment, but they also have their problems. They have suffered some hurtful defeats this season that highlight the lack of consistency that has stopped them from achieving great things.
These have been highlighted on a number of occasions this season, namely when newly-promoted Nimes put them to the sword (1-3) and also when, and probably the most painful of results when considering the opposition, Lyon put four past them in a dominating derby win (2-4). Despite sitting third in the table, they have conceded nine goals in their last four games and have a lot of teams snapping at their heels looking to take their position in the top three.
These two Milan teams are building their way back to the top of Italian football, and as they meet in this game we expect fireworks as usual even if it is not a title decider. Inter would have an eye on a midweek meeting with Barcelona, while Milan would be looking to preserve their recently put together unbeaten run.
Inter made a bad start to this campaign but they have since turned it around as they come into this game on the back of a 6-game winning run. That run of results has helped them claim a top-four spot in the Serie A and a top two spot in their Champions League group.
Milan have also started this season well as they look to finish inside a top-four spot. They have netted in every single league game this season and come into this game just three points shy of a top-four spot. They have also made a solid start to their Europa League campaign, and having scored at least 2 goals in each of their league games on average this term, they would be up for a battle against Inter Milan here.
Five of the last eight Milan derbies in Serie A have finished in a draw (two wins for Inter, one for Milan) – this is as many draws as in their previous 33 encounters.

Betting on football involves predicting results on matches and placing a ‘bet’ or ‘putting money’ or ‘staking’ on the outcome. ‘Odds’ in football betting represent the probability of an event to happen and makes you able to calculate how much money you will win if your bet wins. For example, with odds of 2.0, for every N1,000 (Kes 1,000) you bet, you will potentially win N2,000 (Kes 2,000), and for every N500 (Kes 500) you bet, you will potentially win N1,000 (Kes 1000). What betting odds do is present how likely the event is to happen.Let’s make it more clear. In a match between Chelsea and Manchester United, if you decide to place an N1,000 (Kes 1,000) bet on the away win betting market at odds of (1.70). When Manchester United win the game, you will have earned N1,700 (Kes 1,700), N700 (Kes 700) of which will be profit for you.Odds can be displayed in two different ways with most online betting sites – fractional or decimal. In fractional odds, odds of 6/1 could mean if you bet a dollar or naira or shillings, and you win you get paid six dollars or naira or shillings (6 x 1 = 6). Odds in the form of (2.0,1.7) are called decimal odds.Betting in football gives you the ability to predict the outcome of certain ‘events’, and if your prediction is correct, you will win money. Events are like football matches for example. You can take the BettingOffers of bookmakers, bet on a team to win, draw or lose, the first and last goalscorer, the correct score, the half-time score, number of goals, whether there will be a sending-off, a hat-trick, penalty or the number of corners, and so on.In betting, there are different kinds of ‘markets’; ‘pre-match’ markets and ‘in-play’. Some markets offer odds on whether there might be a goal, card, corner or penalty in the first five minutes of the match, for example. Pre-match markets involve placing bets before kick-off, while In-Play is betting that takes place after an event has started and up to its end. Some bookmakers or online betting sites sometimes call In-Play ‘live betting’.Betting on your favorite football match is about more than just who will win or what the final score will be. In fact, some bookmakers (online betting sites) now offer hundreds of markets on just a single match and many more if you decide to bet In-Play.As a beginner, you can be confused by the multiple markets available, but keep calm we’d explain them to you gradually. You will soon start to learn how the whole betting process works, by learning a few key markets at first. You as the bettor can choose whether you want to place ‘single bet’ on one of the markets or play ‘multiple bets’ or ‘accumulate’ several events for bigger returns. These are some of the most popular markets and terms in football betting:1. Stake: This is how much money you place on a bet2. Handicap: This is a type of bet that is offered when one team is the clear favorite3. Both Teams to Score (BTTS): If both teams score in a football match.4. Total Goals: The total number of goals to be scored in a match5. Multiple Bets: Any bet involving more than one selection6. Clean sheet home team/away team: Will the home or away team play to nil (yes or no). Play to nil means without conceding
When the season started, few would have thought that this game would be a top of the table clash, but that is what it is as Barcelona host the in-form Sevilla here.
Barcelona and Real Madrid have uncharacteristically been struggling recently and Sevilla is one of a few teams that have taken advantage of their bad form to get themselves up the league table. Barcelona currently trail their visitors by a single point, and allowing them to leave the Camp Nou with even a point would signal that the season may have entered a full-blown crisis mode.
Barcelona head into this game on the back of a four games winless run and they would be under pressure to end that dismal run in this game. However, they did improve just before the international break by winning at Tottenham and picking up a draw at the Mestalla against Valencia.
Sevilla are top of the league table for the first time since 2007. That season they ended their campaign in 3rd position. While it is too early to talk about them challenging for the title, if they continue like this they comfortably finish inside the top three again.
Barcelona have a great recent record against Sevilla, winning 9 of the 10 meetings since the start of 2016. That includes Copa del Rey Final and Spanish Super Cup victories this year. Sevilla have only won one of their last 22 games against Barcelona in La Liga (D5 L16), 2-1 in October 2015, keeping a clean sheet only once in the process.
The Premier League returns after a long boring week of international football, and these two Premier League heavyweights would be serving us a cracker as the first game of the weekend.
Chelsea have started the reign of Maurizio Sarri on a high note and perhaps even more positive than most of us expected. The Blues come into this game unbeaten in all competition under the former Napoli manager, and they have played 11 competitive fixtures already.
They have played Liverpool twice already this season and almost ran away with a win when the Reds visited them in the league. They are currently joint top of the Premier League table alongside fellow unbeaten sides, Liverpool and Manchester City, and failing to win this game would see them fall off the pace with their rivals.
Eden Hazard has already scored 7 Premier League goals and provided 3 assists, he could be the difference yet again in this match.
Manchester United are currently on crisis mode even though the club is trying its best to keep things calm. This game is another game that Jose Mourinho would need to get a result from if he wants to keep his job and all eyes would be on his players to see if they still have the desire to play for him.
Manchester United have lost away to both Brighton and West Ham, managing to concede 3 times in both of those games. Add to that the fact that Jose Mourinho has lost in 4 of his last 5 away games against sides he’s formerly managed and it’s not looking like a good afternoon for the visitors.
Chelsea have won four and lost two of their last six competitive meetings with Manchester United, but at Stamford Bridge they have proven almost unbeatable against the Red Devils. They have lost just one of their last 16 home Premier League games against them, winning ten times. No other side have beaten Manchester United more times than Chelsea, and they haven’t won at Stamford Bridge since Sir Alex Ferguson’s retirement five years ago.

Adelaide had a great season the last time as a marked improvement from the previous campaign saw them end the season in a playoff place and the 5th position overall. However, they have lost a couple of players in the summer with Daniel Adlung and Johan Absalonsen who were their biggest attacking threats last season all leaving them ahead of this campaign.
With those major absentees, it looks like it would be another tough season for them. They would be looking at the duo of Ken Ilso and Mirk Boland to make up for the loss of their two big stars, but starting your season against the team that has won the last two titles might be too much to deal with.
Sydney FC won the top division last season after an impressive campaign that ended with a 14 points gap over second-placed Newcastle Jets. However, they did lose their top scorer over the past two seasons as Devison Bobo who scored 27 goals last season as he left them to return to the Turkish top flight.
They have also replaced the very successful Graham Arnold with rookie manager Steve Corica, and it would be interesting to see how long the team gets adjusted to these changes.
Sydney FC have won five and drawn one of their last six meetings with Adelaide United, last falling to defeat in April 2016.
