Arsenal come into this game looking to close the gap on the top four having fallen 6 points adrift of the 4th position. Interestingly they play Chelsea who are currently 4th, if they lose this game, they would be in for a tough time ending the season inside the top four and may even start the new week outside the top 5 should Manchester United win.
The Gunners have played well when they play at home recently with their last two games there ending in wins over Burnley and Fulham. They scored 7 goals in those games and conceded just 2 times, Unai Emery would be hoping for more of the same but Chelsea are of a different quality to the above opponents.
Chelsea started the reign of Maurizio Sarri Brightly, but the Blues have since gone through a rough patch. they have struggled for goals recently as they haven’t scored more than 2 goals in over 10 game.
They beat Newcastle 2-1 at home in their last league game, but it was obvious that they are struggling to get goals and Arsenal should take advantage of that here.
