Aaron Judge Shines Again in Yankees’ 5-1 Win Over Guardians

Aaron Judge continued his hot streak in New York’s 5-1 victory over the Cleveland Guardians on Wednesday. The performance follows his four-hit game on Tuesday.

Judge’s standout moment came in the first inning, when he hit a scorching triple off Guardians starter Luis L. Ortiz. The ball was hit at 110.9 mph, traveling 424 feet to dead center field, just missing what would have been his eighth home run of the season. Instead, it marked Judge’s sixth career triple, and only his third since 2018. He added a one-out single in the second inning to further contribute to the Yankees’ offense.

The performance had the Yankees’ clubhouse buzzing. As Aaron Judge highlight reel played on the clubhouse TV before the game, teammates Oswaldo Peraza, Pablo Reyes, and Jorbit Vivas paused their conversations to watch. Judge’s consistent excellence is now evident in his .415 batting average and tie for the MLB lead in RBIs with 26. Yankees manager Aaron Boone was full of praise, stating, “He never ceases to amaze up there.”
