West Ham target shock January move for misfiring Chelsea striker

Alvaro Morata could be set to make a shock move across London to West Ham in the next transfer window as he had failed to ignite the Premier League at Stamford Bridge.

The attacker scored 11 times last season and started this season well by scoring a goal against Arsenal, but the goals have since dried up and he has fallen behind Olivier Giroud in the pecking order.

He has been frustrated by the spotlight shining on him after he made the 58 million move from Real Madrid to Stamford Bridge last summer, and he could be set to switch clubs temporarily.

TalkSport claims that a move to West Ham is on the cards and he could join the Hammers in the January transfer window.

It appears that Morata may not fancy a move to a relegation-threatened club, however, AC Milan, Borussia Dortmund, and Atletico Madrid are also interested in signing him temporarily.
