Packers Open to Trading Jaire Alexander Amid Ongoing Discussions

The Packers have begun trade talks involving Jaire Alexander and are ready to transfer the star cornerback if offered the right price, according to NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport.

Alexander, a two-time Pro Bowler, is one of the most accomplished cornerback who is currently on the trade market, Rapoport emphasized. With two years, $37 million left on his contract, and Packers General Manager noncommittal about him, his future in Green Bay is uncertain.

“We’ll see,” Gutekunst said on Jan. 16 when asked if Jaire Alexander would be on the team in 2025. “We’re working through that. He certainly could be. But we’ll work through that as we go.”
