Villarreal have successfully signed Inter Milan wing-back Taj Buchanan.
He will join the team for a €1m fee with option for permanent transfer worth €13m.
Villarreal finalised the agreement for Buchanan ahead of competition from Monza, Torino and Fiorentina in Italy.
Taj has fully recovered from a leg fracture he suffered at the end of the season.
He will immediately start taking orders from Marcelino, although the coach will not use him for the match against Valladolid. Instead Buchanan will watch from the box at the Estadio de La Cerámica.
