After surviving the drop last season by one point, Plymouth were one of the pre-season favourites to fall, and their form so far this campaign hasn’t done them any favours. Having gone through 3 different managers last term, Argyle were hoping for something long-term with fooball legend Wayne Rooney, but he lasted only seven months with them.

Rooney exited the team on New Year’s Eve, with Plymouth fixed to the bottom of the Championship table, after taking 13 losses in 23 games. Since he left, their form has improved, as they played out a draw in their next two league games and delivered a shocking 1-0 FA Cup victory over Brentford under Kevin Nancekivell. The draw put them within three points of security. This match is important, as 3 points will only leave them in the relegation zone.

QPR are 13th in the Championshp standings and have been in impressive form in recent months, losing only one out of 11 league games. Last term, they and Plymouth were separated by just three places and five points, as both clubs were fighting relegation. This weekend, that gap is much bigger with the teams 11 places and points apart. A reverse fixture in August saw them play out a 1-1 draw.

Despite Queens Park improving this year, they still struggled on the road, with just two wins this season. Their away problems resumed last weekend, as Leicester City beat them 6-2 in the third round of the FA Cup. They will want to redeem themselves here and get their first win on the road since late November, when they beat Cardiff City 2-0.

Plymouth have demonstrated their resilient spirit in recent weeks and are undefeated since Rooney left the team. But, experts believe that QPR will steal all the points here, as they intend to narrow the nine-point gap between them and the playoff zone.

Final Prediction: QPR Moneyline.
