Charlotte FC have begun discussions with Newcastle United for Miguel Almirón.
According to the Guardian, a comeback to the MLS seems to be on the cards for the former Atlanta United player.
Charlotte and Newcastle have had prior discussions, but there is no set agreement presently.
Brazilian sides Santos FC and Botafogo are also interested in Almirón. Olympiakos wants in on the action as well.
Miguel has a contract with the Magpies that will end in the summer of 2026.
